फकरे आलम/दंतेवाड़ा – बचेली:दंतेवाड़ा। दंतेवाड़ा जिला मुख्यालय के ओल्ड सर्किट हाउस स्थित स्विमिंग पुल रिनोवेशन के बाद आम जनता और छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए ओपन कर दिया गया है। शनिवार को स्थानीय विधायक श्री चैतराम अटामी के द्वारा उक्त स्विमिंग पुल का सत्र 2024-25 के लिए शुभारंभ किया गया। ताकि तैराकी स्पर्धा में में नई प्रतिभाएं आगे आ सकें। जिसमें तैराकी शरीर को स्वस्थ रखने के लिए एक बेहतर माध्यम होता है। कोई भी व्यक्ति नगर पालिका दंतेवाड़ा में पंजीयन करवा के स्विमिंग पूल का सदस्यता ले सकते हैं।
इसमें छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए सदस्यता शुल्क रियायती दर पर रखी गई है। विगत 4-5 वर्षों से स्विमिंग पुल का संचालन बंद हो गया था तथा स्विमिंग पुल का रिनोवेशन जरूरी हो गया था। दंतेवाड़ा के नागरिकों की मांग थी की स्विमिंग पुल का संचालन प्रारंभ किया जाए। साथ ही तैराकी प्रतिस्पर्धा के लिए भी खिलाड़ियों के बीच स्विमिंग पुल की जरूरत महसूस की जा रही थी।
