Fosfomycin: Why This Antibiotic is Rarely Prescribed
Fosfomycin 3gm sachet, an antibiotic, is rarely prescribed despite its broad-spectrum activity and effectiveness against resistant bacteria. Its limited use is due to several factors. Primarily, fosfomycin is often reserved for specific infections, such as uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs), due to its narrow indication.
